Meet Liron Erel
Born in the early ’80s to a French mother and an Israeli father, my earliest memories are of idyllic summers in the south of France.
Mornings began with croissants before my grandmother would whisk us off to Cannes beach in her tiny ’79 VW Polo, complete with massage beads on the seats. My cousin Sarah and I would swim and dive until our muscles burned. Though she didn’t speak a word of Hebrew or English, thanks to her, I was fluent in French by the age of six.
Music became my greatest passion during my teenage years, driving me to play guitar and bass in various indie bands throughout my 20s. In high school, I discovered a simple, inexpensive point-and-shoot film camera, and something instantly clicked. It unlocked a new perspective, allowing me to capture the raw, fleeting moments of life with my friends.
For the past 20 years, photography has been my visual language and purpose. It’s a gift I hold close to my heart, and today, I’m grateful to share it with my clients, friends, and family.
The Approach
1.
Visual Echoes of Heartfelt Moments
Your story began before this day and will continue unfolding long after. What I aim to provide you with are images that you and your loved ones will be looking at and cherish in the decades to come; Images that are nuanced & unapologetically you. Images that are understated, elegant, and, encapsulate the light of the day.
2.
An Ode to Love
I have been lucky to travel around the world to shoot incredible couples on their special day. Capturing images that connect you to the moment, your surroundings, and your people as if they had just happened.
By witnessing your day as it unfolds, I am able to create photographs of what your wedding day felt like; the laughter, the tears, and all the in-betweens. I will guide you into the light (quite literally) and find beauty in every aspect of the day, including the little imperfections which, in time, will turn into the beautiful, nostalgic memories of your wedding day.
3.
A Wholesome Experience
My method of capturing a wedding is to be a part of it; immerse myself in the experience, ride that wave with you, and, capture it from the inside out. I want the photos to feel raw, authentic, and sincere; conveying the true emotions of the day.
